The Lighthouse in Cancun is simply one of the most amazing spots for an instagram picture! It is a little bit of a legend, as it is located in a coastline point where you will have to access a private hotel beach to get there.
We can tell you how to get there:
It is located in Cancun Hotel Zone, hotelera, KM 9.0, near Playa Caracol, the nearest public beach. You will have to walk to your right about 15 or 20 minutes until you see the lighthouse in the horizon. You will find hammocks to enjoy the ocean and the sun. For the hotel security staff, just tell them you are taking a picture, and you probably wont have any problem!
For your journey: take some sandals or water shoes, as you will find some rocks on the beach, also do not forget a biodegradable sunscreen.
